DApp Transaction Volumes, User Base Slump In Q3 2019

Decentralized applications’ (DApps) transaction volume and user activity have slumped in the third quarter of 2019, a new study shows. Database issues at the Swedish digital currency exchange QuickBit resulted in a breach of sensitive user data, according to an official announcement published on July 22. A New York resident has filed a lawsuit against crypto exchange Bittrex for allegedly withholding funds, industry news outlet The Block reports on June 30.
